Callan Ritchie was born in Marietta, GA. While in elementary school she discovered her true passion. ART! Her art teacher Mrs. Pollack(not related to Jackson) was her first influence. She continued to make and appreciate art in many ways. She took classes in high school and also attended classes at an art center. She eventually found her way to The Savannah College of Art and Design. There she took many classes such as printmaking, photography, and painting. She found that painting was her destiny.
